PROGRAM OVERVIEW

This program is designed for any athlete ages 10 & up. The focus of this 8 week speed improvement program is to enhance mobility, coordination, speed mechanics, horizontal power, early acceleration, and top-end speed.

We aim to refine each athlete's movement efficiency and explosive capabilities through targeted drills and exercises. To measure progress, we will track key performance indicators (KPI's) that include total jump distance, split times, peak velocity, and more. These metrics will provide a comprehensive assessment of each athlete's development and the effectiveness of the program.

Key Performance Indicators of this Program

  • Standing Triple Jump - measure total distance
  • 3 x consecutive broad jump - measure total distance
  • Knee down starts - measure the 0-15, 0-20 yard split time & peak speed 
  • 2 point starts - measure the 0-15, 0-20 yard split time & peak speed 
  • 60 yd speed builds - measure peak speed 
  • 20 yard run in - Flying 10 yard sprint - Measure 20-30 yd segment split time & peak speed

Expectations

You will be connected with a coach who will guide & monitor your progress throughout the program. Expect measurable improvements in your speed, tracked in miles per hour (MPH) & faster sprint split times. You will also develop greater power, shown by longer jump distances, & improved coordination through better mechanics & refined motor patterns. Additionally, consistent & focused warm-ups emphasizing dynamic activation & mobility will enhance your flexibility & range of motion.
